When installing your new 542mm zero-turn blades, ensure the cutting deck is entirely free of grass buildup and debris. Operating a zero-turn mower with unbalanced or unevenly worn blades causes high-vibration stress on the deck spindles, which can quickly ruin the spindle bearings. Always install the blade with the sail (the curved lift lip) pointing upward toward the deck. Hand-thread the mounting bolts to prevent cross-threading, then torque them down securely to factory specifications.
