Titan Pro Tech Tip: Engine Swap & Initial Setup
Complete replacement engines are shipped dry without oil for transit safety. Before initial start-up, fill the crankcase with 0.6 Litres of SAE 30 or 10W-30 4-stroke engine oil and verify the level on the dipstick. When bolting the engine to the mower deck chassis, torque all mounting bolts evenly to prevent deck flex and check crankshaft keyway alignment before reattaching the blade boss. Always fill with fresh, unleaded petrol (E5/E10) to keep the Smart-Choke system operating cleanly.
