When fitting this replacement choke and throttle assembly, route the cable along the handlebar frame without sharp turns or kinks near folding pivot joints. Secure the outer sheath clamp firmly at the engine linkage bracket so that pushing the control lever forward fully closes the choke butterfly valve for cold starts, and pulling it back allows full rev range movement without restriction.
