A failing rear drive transmission often manifests as loss of forward drive, severe grinding noises, or drive belt slipping. When installing this replacement gearbox unit, thoroughly clean the axle mounting points and rear deck housing. Check that the drive belt pulley aligns straight with the engine drive pulley to prevent premature belt edge wear. Ensure the tension return spring and engagement clutch cable anchor securely to the gearbox pivot arm before testing the self-propelled drive engagement under load.

Good replacement gearbox bit of a fiddle to replace but I managed must point out the titan pro zero turn is very easy to work on. Original one lasted about 3 to 4 years it got a lot of use I use the mower for my work .
